Embroidery
We offer intricately embroidered ladies cardigans such as this example which can be found in our Burnawn Classic section. Some of our own designs use appliqué as well as embroidery. This is particularly successful on sweatshirts as the weight and texture of the fabric make it very suitable. These garments can be found in our Burnawn Leisure and Children's sections.
We have approximately 120 standard logos on our web site which are listed by their theme for you to select. If we haven’t covered your particular choice, please contact us, as we do have thousands more here at the factory and might be able to help you. We can also originate designs, more or less anything that you can send us. There is an additional charge for this depending on the number of stitched involved and the number of garments you wish to have embroidered.
We can also personalize garments with lettering such as a club or company name and also a personal name. This can be done in script or print and in any choice of colour. If no colour is specified, we use gold.
We can add a logo to any of our plain garments including our lined weatherwise garments. (We do this complicated procedure by means of a secret zip so that the wind and water resistant permatex lining is not punctured and spoilt. This also saves pinning the lining to the knitted sweater which would greatly restrict movement.)
Embroidery is usually positioned either on the left chest of a garment as worn, or either sleeve. We can, of course, place embroidery wherever you would like! Some sports wear brands recently have adopted the position of just above the welt. We also have a few larger logos on the web site that are suitable for the front panel of a garment.

Knitwear has been embroidering knitwear for over 40 years. We were
offering this service long before the days of digitized computer
programmes. So although we now use this technology , our experience
gives us the advantage of knowing how to set a logo, position it
correctly on the garment and balance any wording to look good.
It still is an art and requires the operator to be skilled in order
to get a professional result.
